Description
Solar Photovoltaic Adoption: Homes and Farms
This seminar considers solar photovoltaic panel adoption in Australia across the residential, non-residential and rural sectors of the economy. As the pace towards net-zero increases, policy-makers must carefully consider the the determinants of adoption.
Rohan Best will discuss household solar panel adoption including the factors driving this adoption and implications for policy design. One key element will be the relationship between household income and solar panel adoption. Rohan will also briefly discuss solar adoption in the non-residential sector.
Madeline Taylor will focus on solar panel adoption for the agricultural sector with discussion of agrivoltaics.
