Call for Presentations

The Queensland Branch of the Australasian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society (AARES) in collaboration with the Environmental and Resource Management Cluster, Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics, Griffith University and CQ University is organising a half-day mini symposium on topics in the field of environmental and resource economics and management.
Keynote speakers will be Dr Gabriela Scheufele, CSIRO Ocean & Atmosphere and Prof John Rolfe, CQU University who will address current challenges and opportunities in the field of environmental and resource economics and management.
We invite contributions to the mini symposium from academia, industry and government economists. We particularly encourage post-graduate students who are enrolled at a university in Queensland to submit their intentions to present their work.
Please submit a title and short abstract (max. 300 words) for inclusion in the mini symposium to Buyani Thomy (buyani.thomy@nceconomics.com) or Sayed Iftekhar (m.iftekhar@griffith.edu.au) by Friday, 22nd October 2021.
